Three Men and a Baby
Based on a French comedy, the original Three Men and a Baby went on to become the biggest Hollywood blockbuster of 1987. It gave rise to a 1990 sequel, Three Men and a Little Lady, by which time the infant had bloomed into a wisecracking infant.

Plot
Three bachelor friends – architect Peter, artist Michael, and actor Jack are sharing an apartment in Manhattan. After Jack goes filming in Turkey his two flatmates find his baby daughter – which Jack doesn’t know about – left outside their door. The two are left to look after the baby, and realise how difficult this can be. How would this baby change the life style of these confirmed bachelors?

The Three Men and a Baby Ghost?
One of the classic urban legends that sprang from the bowels of home rental videos, this rather disturbing child was first spotted when people (for some reason) where hiring 1987’s Three Men and a Baby and pausing to see what looked like the unhappy spectre of a child.
When Jack’s mother comes to visit Mary, you can see in the background what appears to be a little boy standing in front of a window. There is a rumor that this is the ghost of a little boy who died in the apartment in which the film was shot. This rumor is false, as the interiors were all shot on a sound stage in a movie studio. The “ghost” is actually a cardboard cut-out of Jack wearing a tuxedo. This prop appears later in the film, when Mary’s mother comes to collect her. Some argue that “it’s smaller” or “it’s dressed differently”, but close examination reveals that it really is the cardboard prop.

Plot
Sylvia’s work causes her to move to England with her daughter, Mary. It’s not just her work, though, it’s also her new boyfriend and fiance. Peter, Michael and Jack don’t like this new arrangement as they feel like Mary is just as much their daughter as she is Sylvia’s. The three travel to England to stop the wedding, because her fiance doesn’t like children and is planning on sending Mary to boarding school, and Peter has fallen in love with Sylvia.
